Easy Run

Today: 6 miles
Week: 19.5 miles
Workout: One loop of Central Park in 48:54 (8:09/mile).

The workout was supposed to be 2 miles easy, 2 miles at 10K race pace, and 2 miles easy. But I've run relatively tough workouts the last two days. I was in need of an easy day, so I ran the entire loop at a conversational pace.

Before the workout, Stacy and Bruno spoke more about their plans for fall marathon training. It's nice to be in a group where so many people are training for marathons. It makes it easy to organize runs on days other than Mondays and Wednesdays.

It seems like quite a few people who are not doing the New York City Marathon are planning on doing the Philadelphia Marathon. I'm excited about possibly going to Philly as a spectator.
