LONG RUN

Today: 21 miles
Week: 62 miles
Workout: 3 mile warm-up around the lower loop of Central Park, 20 minute break, 8 miles with the Nike Run Club from 65th St, up the west side of the park to Harlem Meer and back to 65th St, another long break of 30 minutes or so, then, 10 miles on my own - a full loop of Central Park plus an extra 4 miles.

I did the 8 miles with a small group @ approximately 8:30 to 9:00/mile. I did the additional 10 miles @ 7:30/mile. It was the longest training run I've done this year. I hope it doesn't take too long to recover from it. The total time of the run was 2 hours 50 minutes. I hope to do three more 20+ mile training runs before the marathon.
