Damon Runyon 5K

Denie & Me on the big screen at Yankee Stadium

On the warning track at Yankee Stadium.
The score from the final game of the World Series was still up.

Today: 3.5 miles
Week: 19.5 miles
Workout: Warm up across the Macombs Dam Bridge, Damon Runyon 5K inside Yankee Stadium, approximately 27 minutes.

There were approximately 2,500 people in the race. The first wave of people began at 9:30 a.m., and every 15 minutes another wave would begin. I think there were 10 waves. We ran on all the different levels, up stairs, and down ramps. But the highlight was definitely running two laps of the field along the warning track. Runners could watch themselves on the big screen in the outfield.
