Workout: Run through Inwood Hill Park and Fort Tryon Park. 44:24 (8:00+/mile).
I haven't done this run in months. It's the run I do whenever I'm running from home. (I've been doing all my runs in Central Park lately.) It's a great run because it goes by TWO Dunkin Donuts towards the end of the run! There's nothing like finishing off a run with a coffee and donut.
I was reading the latest issue of Sports Illustrated for Kids, and it mentioned a 13-year-old girl who runs 40 miles per week. She recently ran a 3 hour 21 minute marathon. In the same issue it mentioned a girl who ran 800 m in 2:23.86, a national record for 9-10 year-olds. I wonder if they eat Dunkin Donuts every day.
